Philana Mugyenyi

Philana Mugyenyi is the Government Affairs Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies, where she leads the organization’s efforts to drive the agenda for access to adequate, safe, and sustainable blood in the region. Philana has over 12 years’ experience working in regulatory, policy and public affairs across SSA, South East Asia, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe.

 

Prior to joining Terumo Blood & Cell Technologies, Philana was a private sector development specialist at the World Bank. A qualified New York attorney, she holds a Master’s degree in law, and a post-graduate diploma in Economics for Competition Law.
