
Mrs. Marloes Kibacha
Marloes is a co-founder of Africa Health Business and serves as the Managing Director. Since 2012, Marloes has provided research consultancy and advisory services in multiple projects aimed at strengthening the development of the African (private) healthcare sector. Prior to her relocation to Kenya in 2012, Marloes worked at the Investment Fund for Health in Africa (IFHA) a private equity fund dedicated to SME- sized investments in health in Africa.
Over the years Marloes gained vast network and broad experience in a wide range of management and research activities including program design and implementation, qualitative research, market research, capacity building, report writing, strategic planning, fundraising, arranging international business delegations, conference coordination, team management, health advocacy and networking amongst others.
She has worked on projects covering the following countries: Kenya, Tanzania, Liberia, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia, South Africa, Senegal, Congo, and Burkina Faso. Besides her role at Africa Health Business, Marloes is the founder and board member of lmarika Initiative, a small-scale community program that supports mentally disabled children and their families in Mukuru Slum, Nairobi.
Marloes holds a MA in Public Administration and Organisational Science and BSc in Cultural Anthropology and Sociology of non-Western Societies, both from Utrecht University in the Netherlands and a Certificate of Proficiency from the College of Insurance in Nairobi.
