Dr. Kelvin Mbugua

Dr Kelvin Mbugua Kinuthia is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist registered by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council as a specialist. He is a Clinical Fellow of the Joanna Briggs Institute, Australia. He has been a consultant at Grace Memorial Clinic in Utawala, Nairobi since its inception in 2020. He is also currently a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Marie Stopes Kenya.

He completed his MBChB in 2005 and his Master of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2013 at the University of Nairobi.

Dr Kinuthia has an interest in family planning, urogynaecology and minimal invasive surgery (laparoscopy). As a gynecologist, he practices best clinical practice modelled on the Joanna Briggs implementation studies. He has published in both local and international peer reviewed journals.

Dr Kinuthia is an admitting consultant in several hospitals in Nairobi and Thika and is currently on the panel of Jubilee and AAR insurance companies.
