Audrey Obara

Audrey is a Senior Investment Manager in charge of healthcare investments at Swedfund International AB. Swedfund’s goal is to increase access to, and improve affordability of, quality healthcare services in Sub Saharan Africa and Asia.

She is keen to work with innovative and sustainable private sector initiatives to improve healthcare outcomes in developing countries. She has extensive experience in sustainable finance, investment appraisal, business valuation, technical accounting, development impact and corporate governance matters having served on the boards of a number of healthcare companies in Africa and Asia.

Prior to joining Swedfund, Audrey worked as a Senior Manager in the Transaction Advisory team at Deloitte Consulting Limited – East Africa. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Actuarial Science) honours degree from the University of Nairobi and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). She has passed the CFA Level II exam.
