Healthy Partnerships: How Governments Can Engage the Private Sector to Improve Health in Africa

Dear Reader,

The AHBS team is proud to welcome IFC on board as a platinum partner on the Africa Health Business Symposium's portfolio of partners, ensuring an African-wide representation at AHBS 2016. In 2006, the IFC launched the report: "The Business of Health in Africa" which looked at the private health sector on the continent and in 2011 the report “Healthy Partnerships: How Governments can Engage the Private Sector to Improve Health in Africa” shedding light on the relationship between the public and private health sectors in Africa and providing information aimed at both parties on what improvements can be made and how.

As a supporter of private sector growth and public-private dialogue, IFC continues to its efforts and focus on "Growing the Business of Health in Africa".
