Dear Reader

We warmly invite you to participate in the upcoming Africa Health Business Symposium (AHBS IV) which will take place on 7-9 October in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia under the theme: “INTERGRATING AFRICA: BRIDGING THE HEALTH GAP’’

Despite the multiple challenges Africa’s health system is facing, all is far from lost for the continent and significant progress on various health indicators is measured. African governments are opening up to partnerships in health as they recognize the public sector alone can not deliver quality healthcare to all its citizens and there is an important complimentary role to play for the private sector.

Why Attend AHBSIV

Over the years Africa Health Business (AHB) has been the frontrunner in promoting the private health sector’s development and partnerships in Africa. The most visible activity has been the annual AHBS which brings together the African private health sector leadership, government officials and development partners in health with the aim of accelerating and growing the collaboration, partnerships and understanding between all stakeholders with the overall goal of transforming health for all in Africa.
AHBS IV will be a 3-day event in which the opening day is themed as the Africa Healthcare Federation (AHF) Summit and which will be focused on the enabling environment, policy and advocacy agenda of Africa’s private health sector.
